Summer School enrollment is full.  No more applications will be accepted at this time.

There are two parts to Summer School.

The first two hours, 9:00 to 11:00, is one hour of one-on-one tutoring using the Orton-Gillingham approach in reading and spelling.  The other hour is expository writing.  This costs $1500.

There is an optional third hour of small-group math, 11:00 to 12:00.  This costs $800.

The cost for all three hours is $2300.

Summer School meets every day, Monday through Friday, for four weeks.

Highlights:

• Daily individual Orton-Gillingham tutoring
• Math enrichment and skills classes (a younger and an older group)
• Academic writing
• Student/teacher ratio up to 5:1 in small group math and writing classes
• Program limited to 22 students
• Parent information and involvement

Fees: $1500 individual tutoring and writing class
$800 small group math class.

A reading/spelling screening is required for admission. Screening assessments will inform tutoring goals and provide a baseline by which to measure improvement. Since Orton-Gillingham tutoring is individualized, each student will progress at his or her own pace.
