Upcoming summer school applications will be available by the end of January 2018

Summer School 2018 will span from July 2nd- 27th (excluding July 4th in observation of the holiday)

Summer School breaks into 2 parts:

The first two hours, 9:00 to 11:00AM, is one hour of one-on-one tutoring using the Orton-Gillingham approach in reading and spelling, and one hour in expository writing.
The second part is an optional third hour of small-group math, 11:00 to 12:00PM.

Summer School meets every day, Monday-Friday, for four consecutive weeks.

Highlights:

• Daily individual Orton-Gillingham tutoring
• Math enrichment and skills classes (a younger and an older group)
• Academic writing
• Student/teacher ratio up to 5:1 in small group math and writing classes
• Program limited to 22 students
• Parent information and involvement

Fee Break Down:
$1500 individual tutoring and writing class (9-11:00 AM sessions)
$800 small group math class (11-12:00 PM session)
Combined three hour sessions is $2,300

A reading/spelling screening is required for admission. Screening assessments will inform tutoring goals and provide a baseline by which to measure improvement. Since Orton-Gillingham tutoring is individualized, each student will progress at his or her own pace.
